Because at this point in this shouting match that would have given
you an advantage.
Besides, you're contradicting yourself: why would telling him otherwise
prevent him from contributing from classpath? Didn't you yourself confirm
that the author can release as often as he likes? Or is it that classpath/
the FSF doesn't accept any code that you've already released under the GPL?
See, I don't even know the answer to this question, but what I do know
is what counts: functionality and availability. That's why I, as hard
as it may be for me, decide to end this discussion for now.
