Interesting paper "Mostly parallel garbage collection":

The idea is to use page faults to detect changed pointers,
so you can run the GC (mostly) in parallel.
Has anyone considered this idea for kaffe? Would it be appropriate?
Obviously, it wouldn't work for architectures that didn't have
memory protection.
