  Well XML query is the W3C Working group started to work
on defining XML queries ... Of course a number of queries syntax
already existed but I think most of the authors of those earlier
efforts have joined the XML Query WG. Doesn't mean the preexisting
code will suddenly stop working, but point out that future efforts
should looks at what is been designed now :-)

  Yes of course, though i have a tendency of trying to keep things
simple and stupid and only fix performances problems when they arose
(like when I started validating against the Docbook Dtd <grin/>)
