Hi Juan, all,

I'm using libxml2 on Win32 but didn't try the http or ftp access yet. Iin
fact my first mods in ye olde libxml times was to remove the ftp and http
code from the lib, which is now configurable thanks to Daniel.

I cannot advise on the other points mentioned, but I would prefer calling
WSAStartup from the application and don't put it into libxml2.
