[xml] libxml directions?

Hi Daniel,

I noticed huge activity on the W3C CVS and silence on tarballs.

Can you please clarify the intended direction for libxml? Will there
be an
- 1.8.7
- 2.0.0 (possibly some incompitablities)
- 1.8.7 and 2.0.0
