I've been reading some of it, and I'll send comments as I read it,
instead of letting them accumulate till I finish, ok?

The `Developing Kaffe' page is excellent, particularly the explanation
on what we're willing to accept and what we're not. BTW, thanks for
the pointer to Guaranį :-)

The sentence ``Traditionally, those projects have been the most
successful that made the wisest choices about what to accept, and
Kaffe is no exception.'' isn't reading very well; an inversion would
help: ``Traditionally, those projects [that made the wisest choices
about what to accept] [have been the most successful], and Kaffe is no
exception.''

The first paragraph of ``Will I still own code...'' implies that
assigning copyrights to, say, FSF, doesn't let the contributor decide
what happens to the code s/he contributes afterwards.

I'd remove the numbering from the `to-do list', it will just harden
future modifications or lead to inconsistencies. Also, it would be
nice to avoid temporal references such as `current', `soon', etc, as
much as possible, because these quickly become outdated, except when
actively maintained.

``ElectricalFire'' is spelled without a space.

When telling people how to submit patches, say that patches for
generated files, such as configure, aclocal.m4, config.h.in and
Makefile.in can be ommitted, as we're going to generate them again out
of acinclude.m4, configure.in, acconfig.h and Makefile.am.

In the testing section, you could mention `make check' explicitly.
Also, the ``able'' word should be deleted from ``and the output able
is compared against...''. The current test script does not support
`piping the output to any UNIX command', only `sort', but that's
doable; is it worth the effort?
