I understand, and I agree with you. However, this apparently isn't
the cause of the problem at hand, I won't have time to implement it in
the near future, and I feel I'd have some trouble to convince Thomas
Tanner to accept this change in libltdl, because it would make it
harder to maintain.
Anyway, if some of you feels like reporting it as a bug to
bug-libtool@gnu.org, it would probably make it much easier (hint, hint
:-)
