We use jikes already to recompile the class libraries.
I mean, what does "switch over" really mean?
I think it's a good idea to invoke a free java compiler written in
java when you type "javac"; if people want to use jikes, then they
type "jikes". Note that jikes is not available for all platforms
on which kaffe runs.
