I totally agree. I was bummed out that Tim merged a bunch of
changes (including several bug unfixes) and then release 1.0b3
the same day. This is not the professional way to do releases :-)

We should have a highly publicized chill period for bug reports
(and hopefully fixes) before releasing the next version.
