Well, it takes time to get everything working. Think of the amount of
time people have put into porting Kaffe to so many platforms, and
compare it with the few-days effort I've put into it to use automake
and libtool. Some of the work that people have made has been
discarded, and replaced with the genericity offerred by libtool, but
some functionality may have been lost, and it should eventually be
restored by integrating it into libtool.

Thank you and Godmar for all the patience. It's very annoying to be
unable to make progress, and I'm really appreciating your willingness
to accept this inconvenience for a short period of time, while I try
to settle things down.

It will, I promise.

I am, so I accept the responsibility for making it work. Well, after
installing the changes, I don't think I have much alternative, anyway :-)
