Just curious.. is there any interest in trying to make the Java core
classes have the same native methods as the JDK? Would this be an
impossible moving target problem?
My motivation is toba (Java to C compiler) which requires the JDK
classes, which are restricted distribution wise. I'm thinking of
just doing the "core" classes, such as java.lang.*, etc. Then
toba could be much more "free"..
My intuition is that at this point this would be a big job...
