Well, I tried on i386-linux, and a large amount of "make test"
failed with
libgmp.so.2: cannot open shared object file
This shared lib is not even installed on the machine. This is a serious
problem, if we rely on a shared lib it should be checked up at configure
time. If not available the specific part should be desactivated.
Do you have the .spec file for the RPM build ? I will try to build RPMs
for linux/i386 linux/sparc and linux/alpha since I have one of each
available.
