RE : [xml] libxml-2.2.7 is released

  I saw that last release is libxml2-2.2.7 but in
downloading stable source package in Gnome the
last version available is libxml-1.8.10

  What is the policy of stable source package ?
Because I can't download from ftp server or CVS,
and I'm interested in having last release.
