[xml] tests fail without "." in the $PATH

Note that, in the XML version of the source, I have to tweak the
Makefile to be able to run the tests (such as "make HTMLtests")
because I don't have "." on my $PATH. It does work in the gnome-xml
version because Makefile.in includes the line "top_builddir = ." and
uses "$(top_builddir)/" in front of all the various program
references.

P.S. Is there some reason that the list is advertised as being
"xml@xmlsoft.org", yet the reply-to header is "xml@rpmfind.net"?
