[xml] Regression test failures version 2-2.2.2

Geez, you solve one problem for me, and I sent another at you. ;-)

I went to install version 2-2.2.2 this afternoon, and encountered quite a
few regression test errors accompanied by coredumps. I am using gcc 2.8.1
under SunOS 5.6; the only ./configure option I used was --prefix.

The tests that failed are:

   ##
   ## HTML SAX regression tests
   ##
   
   doc2.html
   doc3.html
   entities.html
   fp40.htm
   wired.html
   
   ##
   ## Push HTML SAX regression tests
   ##
   
   doc2.htm
   doc3.htm
   entities.html
   fp40.htm
   wired.html
   
The resulting output from the regression test failures (just the portions
that failed) is something like 6000 lines. What information can I provide
which will be most useful to you?
