Okay I have worked on this, and this pinpointed a couple of nasty
bugs related to HTML encoding support. I fixed them in W3C CVS base
and added you example in the testsuite.
Thanks those bugs were difficult to find and track, getting them reported
is extremely useful.
I will probably release a new version early next week, if I find the time
