Ok, short answer: 2.2.1 is a bit harder to build on win32 than 2.1 so it
won't be today.

Long answer: I need to dedicate half a day to fixing build problems on win32.
A lot of these, most in fact, are things msvc is catching that gcc does not.
So fixing them would be a good thing.

After I fix this stuff, I will ftp over to the debian box and diff the whole
mess.

There are two things that would help me out *alot* to be distributed with
the tar ball (which means put into cvs):

  - an include directory for all the header files
  - a win32 directory for msvc, borland, watcom, etc stuff. This could have the
    win32 config file also.

I will accept as much "hand holding" as any one cares to provide, so anyone
with a couple of hours to burn, let me know. Most of these warning date from
at least 1.8.2, so it ouwld be nice to get a clean build.
