Would you mind upgrading to libxml-2.1.0 . I did test the compilation
and verified that the example was running Okay. It's probably a better
start.
extract the 2.1.0
configure, make, make install
cd example
make
./gjobread gjobs.xml
Should work out of the box, it did test it before release.
In case you have troubles building the makefile there is a
simple one enclosed.
