[xml] Compilation pbs for the example

Hello,
This is my first use of the gnome-xml libraries.
I ve downloaded the libxml2 in tar.gz version and I ve done the
following instructions to compile it:
    _configure
    _make
    _make install
and during the execution of configure I ve seen that I got some problem
with the creation of the Makefile of the example "gjobread"

I got this message:

checking for readline in -lreadline... (cached) yes
creating ./config.status
creating libxml.spec
creating Makefile
creating doc/Makefile
creating example/Makefile
sed: can't read ./example/Makefile.in: No such file or directory
creating xmlversion.h
creating xml-config
creating win32config.h
creating config.h
config.h is unchanged

Is there any information regarding how to build a correct Makefile on an
Xml project for linking the libraries correctly and how to include
this code into a GTK project.
