[xml] Parsing XML from an already open file

I was wondering wether there is any way to pass an open file-descriptor
(either a FILE* from stdout or an fd as returned by the kernel
open() function) to libxml and have the contents parsed.

The reason is that I am writing a program that gets its input to be
parsed from stdin from another program.
