Thanks - however is_pubidchar allows for '\'' so my test failed
again when I put this patch in.

This worked though. Maybe the definition of is_pubidchar needs to
be changed, not sure.

         while (IS_PUBIDCHAR(CUR) && (CUR!='\'') NEXT;
